Dermal Facial Fillers

How facial fillers work

Hyaluronic acid is a substance the body produces naturally, which is why it is commonly used in this type of treatment. Depending on the product and the area treated, results are temporary and gradually fade as the material is absorbed by the body over a period of months.
Types of facial fillers

- Hyaluronic acid fillers (such as Juvederm and Restylane): add volume and soften wrinkles and fine lines; effects are typically temporary and gradually absorbed.
